Overview
Iron Studios Vault Key overview image

Iron Studios, a globally recognized producer of licensed collectible statues, drives significant annual revenue through exclusive product releases at Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in São Paulo.

In the year of this engagement, Iron Studios’ CCXP exclusives were delayed and would not be physically available at the event. Those exclusives represented approximately $400,000 in gross revenue and historically sold out, with large daily lines during the conference.

With only one month of lead time, COZ designed and delivered a production-ready solution consisting of Signet, a phygital certificate of authenticity powered by NFI technology, and the Iron Studios Vault, a purpose-built CRM and ownership portal that connected on-chain authenticity to real-world fulfillment. This allowed Iron Studios to sell their exclusives at CCXP, authenticate ownership on-chain, and drop ship statues directly to verified buyers after the event.

The exclusives sold out.

Challenge

CCXP exclusives are a high-stakes revenue moment

The demand window is short, the customer base is highly motivated, and the collector expectation is that “exclusive” means provable ownership and authenticity.

When inventory delays made physical delivery impossible on-site, Iron Studios faced compounding risks.

Key risks:

  • losing event revenue tied to the conference window
  • damaging the collector trust and exclusivity perception
  • increasing the operational burden of matching buyers to later shipments
  • leaving authenticity vulnerable in a secondary market where counterfeits matter

Iron Studios needed a solution that could be designed, built, and deployed to production in 30 days and work inside a high-volume conference environment.

Solution

Signet + Iron Studios Vault

COZ delivered an end-to-end system that decoupled purchase from physical delivery while preserving authenticity, exclusivity, and operational control.

Signet: Digital Certificate of Authenticity (On-Chain)

Signet provided a counterfeit-resistant, fully self-custodial, phygital certificate representing verified ownership of a specific limited-edition statue.

This enabled Iron Studios to sell the exclusive entitlement immediately at CCXP, even though the statue would ship later.

Iron Studios Vault: Ownership + Fulfillment Portal (CRM Built by COZ)

COZ built the Iron Studios Vault to operationalize the program.

The vault enabled customers to:

  • claim on-chain ownership of their statue entitlement
  • verify authenticity and ownership at any time
  • register an account with shipping details for post-event delivery

This created a reliable bridge between on-chain proof and off-chain fulfillment, reducing manual reconciliation and improving fulfillment confidence.

Drop Shipping Workflow

When inventory became available, Iron Studios shipped statues directly to verified Vault account holders, ensuring fulfillment matched authenticated ownership.

Iron Studios preserved its CCXP exclusives revenue moment despite delayed inventory and increased the perceived value of their products.

  • Approximately $400,000 in gross revenue was preserved
  • Limited-edition products sold out
  • High daily demand sustained during the conference
  • Counterfeit-resistant authenticity introduced at the point of sale
  • CRM-backed entitlement and shipping workflows enabled clean post-event fulfillment

Importantly, the solution also improved conversion by removing a major purchase barrier: customers no longer had to worry about transporting large collectible statues through a crowded venue or packing them in luggage.

Conclusion

Why This Matters

For premium brands selling high-value physical goods at major events, the real constraint is often logistics, not demand. COZ’s Signet + Vault approach demonstrated that with the right digital infrastructure, brands can protect revenue against supply delays, strengthen authenticity, and improve customer experience, without compromising exclusivity.

Most importantly, COZ delivered a production-ready system under a hard deadline: 30 days from initiation to live production.
